Read Luke 17:1-19.

1. Jesus says that bad things are bound to happen, but you’re in big trouble if you’re a person who causes it to happen. I don’t think you’d be able to swim if you had a gigantic millstone tied around your neck.
2. If someone sins against you, Jesus is clear that you have to “rebuke” them. That means that you are to tell them what they did that was wrong. If they ask for forgiveness, awesome. No problem there. But, what if the person doesn’t repent?
3. Jesus says that you must forgive every time someone asks for forgiveness. Does that make us pushovers?
4. I didn’t even know there was such a think as a mulberry tree; but, apparently, if you have a tiny bit of faith, you would be able to replant it in the ocean.
5. In His analogy about the servant, Jesus is saying that we shouldn’t expect a reward for doing what we’re supposed to do. We should simply be satisfied in knowing that we are good servants. Do you ever find yourself wanting recognition or a pat on the back for doing basic stuff that you’re average Christian is supposed to do?

6. Ten guys with leprosy, shouting for mercy from Jesus. They were clean when they showed themselves to the priests. Just like that.
7. Only one guy came back, though. What do you think happened to the other nine?
