OK, so I am still on hiatus; but I wanted to provide an explanation for why. Basically, I have been learning a lot in seminary. And I have realized that my process of interpreting the Bible (no matter how entertaining or interesting it might be) wasn’t really based on sound principles. So, what I want to do is try to go back and re-do all my previous posts at some point, maybe even on a new site (new format); but, for now, I am learning all the principles in my “Learning to Interpret Scripture” class that will help me in this. I don’t want to be simply another voice. I want to realize that the author’s intention was to the original audience and then figure out how that applies to me. So stay tuned!
